Language for writing

This training demonstrates how to grow children's vocabulary and language structures rapidly. It provides teachers with the necessary conditions in which to grow writers and advanced readers. Suitable for teachers and TAs from Reception to Year 4

RWI Comprehension

This is a practical training to help teachers implement Read Write Inc. Comprehension, the next step in developing children's composition and writing skills. It is for children who are skilled decoders from Y2/P3 onwards and helps them reach National Curriculum level 3. It is suitable for use up to year 4.

Training for RWI Spelling

The Read Write Inc. Spelling programme is both a rigorous and fun way of helping children learn to spell. In just ten minutes a day, you will see a transformation in your children’s spelling. It is designed for children who have completed RWI Phonics, or those who can already read at Level 2b, to achieve Level 5, or English Language 5-14 Level D/E.

Suitable for Year 2 to Year 7+ teachers and TAs

Training for RWI Tutoring

Read Write Inc. One-to-one tutoring catches vulnerable children before they fall so all children learn to read the first time they are taught. It prevents the need for any later intervention. It is a short-term intensive programme for children who have missed schooling, have poor concentration or a particular special need. It uses existing staff so no extra funding is needed.
