Leadership and Management training
It is vital that RWI managers lead their team with passion and knowledge of the latest developments to our programmes. Our most effective schools share best practice and develop their expertise, skills and knowledge under the guidance of one of our most experienced RWI trainers. The day is designed for Read Write Inc. managers and other senior staff involved in running Read Write Inc. in school. It is only available as Central training.

Central Training
The issues discussed include:
- Are all staff clear of the expectations of progress?
- Are they confidently teaching assisted and independent blending?
- Is a system for one to one tutoring in place?
- Do they understand how to develop children’s orthographic store of words?
- Do all staff deliberately use ambitious vocabulary to develop language comprehension?
- Do staff maximize opportunities to forge links between reading and writing?
- Does the RWI manager model the teaching of writing for staff?
- Do you use the system for monitoring, tracking and assessment effectively to identify strengths and weaknesses?
- Please raise any other issues that you would like to discuss regarding Read Write Inc in your school.
What does it cost?

£140 + VAT per person

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required if cancelling a place on a training course. Otherwise we reserve the right to charge 50% of the cost of the place booked.
